Clergy Appreciation Month!?!

Did you know that October is National Clergy Appreciation Month in the United States? Yeah, me either! Until, that is, one of my dear co-workers gave me a present of Twix, one of my favorite candy bars (fortunately, they sell Twix here in Kenya). September 26th was the three-year anniversary of my ordination and without a traditional parish to serve, small gifts of appreciation are rare but very powerful and encouraging to me.
